Serra Verde produces rare earth concentrates with a high proportion of the critical REEs Dysprosium (Dy), Terbium (Tb), Neodymium (Nd) and Praseodymium (Pr) that are key to powering the clean energy transition. These four REEs are critical to the production of permanent magnets used to make the motors for EVs and wind turbines more efficient.

Current supply of these REEs is highly concentrated and projected to be in undersupply into the next decades.

As the first large scale provider of all four critical rare earths used in magnet production outside Asia we provide a new, reliable, responsible, traceable, and low carbon supply of REEs to diversify global supply chains.

We aim to play a role in accelerating the transition to clean energy by responsibly providing and growing the supply of critical REEs such as Dysprosium, Terbium, Neodymium and Praseodymium, while establishing sustainable ecosystems and value chains.
